Yidnekatchew says “Red card punishment should be limited to the player. The competitiveness and quality of the match and most importantly the millions of spectators should not be punished for a mistake committed by an individual. The 7 years old African proposal, (now 27), which recommended that a red carded player be replaced by one of the substitutes has to be tried. What is a World Cup final if one side gets a number advantage early in the match"??
